Mama Brian is 21 years old and lives with her Aunt in Rau village, who helps her care for her 1 year old son, Brian. She was born in Rombo, Tanzania and moved to Moshi just after Brian was born to look for work.

Her dad passed away when she was 11 years old and soon afterwards her mom left her and her brother on their own. Afterwards, she went to live with another Aunt; however, they didn’t have much money so she had to drop out of school after 7th grade.

She once wanted to be a teacher but now she just wants to earn enough money to care for Brian on her own. She is very shy and tends to be quite hard on herself when it comes to work but she is a fast learner and eager to move on with her life.
